Trzeci rok z rzędu końcówkę roku wspólnie (P. ma passę dłuższą o rok) spędziliśmy na Europejskim Spotkaniu Młodych Taize, które odbywało się na przełomie grudnia i stycznia w stolicy Czech - Pradze. Dało nam to okazję do spędzenia wspólnie czasu na modlitwie, refleksji, ale także do zwiedzenia tego jakże pięknego miasta i dopisania sobie do listy kolejnej razem zwiedzonej stolicy. Praga jest nie tyko stolicą, ale również największym miastem Czech. Ludzie (a konkretnie plemiona celtyckie) zasiedlali te tereny już od 500r. p.n.e.. Pierwsi Słowianie przybyli na te ziemie 1000 lat później. W roku osiemsetnym, u władzy znalazła się dynastia Przemyślidów, którzy założyli warowną osadę - zamek praski. Obecnie miasto zajmuje powierzchnię 496 km^2 i zamieszkuje je 1,2 mln mieszkańców. My w Pradze pojawiliśmy się po jeździe autobusem z przebojami, które na myśl przywołały nam drogę do Rzymu. Tym razem jednak "na szczęście" awaria wydarzyła się zanim byliśmy w autobusie, więc mogliśmy się ogrzać w Gnieźnie przy katedrze. Po pewnych problemach, chodzieska grupa licząca 8 osób, pod przewodnictwem x. Michała, zjawiła się w stolicy Czech i po sprawach technicznych, związanych z meldunkiem i jazdą komunikacją miejską z masą bagaży mogliśmy w spokoju przywitać się z nową rodzinką w przypadku chłopaków lub ze szkołą, jak w przypadku dziewczyn i udać się na wieczorną modlitwę na hale na Letnianach, gdzie swe miejsce miało centrum wydarzeń ESMu. Warto podkreślić, że wystrajane były one w stylu znanego czeskiego artysty – Bohuslava Reyneka.

It gave us the opportunity to spend time together in prayer and reflection, but also to visit this very beautiful city and writing it on the list of together visited european capitals. Prague is not only the capital, but also the largest city in the Czech Republic. People (specifically the Celtic tribes) inhabited the area from 500 year BC. Currently, the city covers an area of 496 km^2 and is inhabited by 1.2 million people. We showed up in Prague after driving a bus with some problems that brought us back to mind of our way to Rome. This time, however, the "lucky" accident happened before we were on the bus so we could get warm in nearby cathedral in Gniezno. After some problems, group from Chodzież, which consisted of 8 people, under the leadership of priest Michal, showed up in the Czech capital and after the issues associated with a accomodation and riding public transportation to the reception point, we could say hi to our new family - as in the case of a boys - or with the school - as in the case of girls - and after that we went to the evening prayer at the halls on Letnany, where its place had the center of events of the meeting.
